Laura Feinstein (she/her) is Kickstarter's Senior Design & Tech Editor, where she mentors creators working within the Design,Tech, and Fashion space. Kickstarter's Design & Tech team were the 2020 recipients of Cooper Hewitt's Design Visionaries Award.

Prior to working at Kickstarter, Laura was a writer and editor for 15 years, covering design, technology, and culture for outlets such as T/The New York Times, The Guardian, Surface, CityLab at The Atlantic, and VICE, where she briefly worked as EIC of The Creators Project. Through her years of editorial and media experience, she helps creators to hone in on message, expand their vision, and frequently offers mentorship and storytelling assistance.
