Seowoo Nam
Designer and Researcher
Seowoo Nam (she/her) is a designer, researcher, and creative technologist who reimagines our interaction with AI and data through critical lenses. Drawing from interaction design and Science and Technology Studies, her work aims to provide tangible lenses to expand our understanding of complexity around us. She questions the technologies that produce knowledge and seeks out how they can be designed differently.
Currently working at CLEVER°FRANKE, she crafts interfaces and tools to tell meaningful narratives from data. Previously, she was affiliated with Lucidminds, exploring ways to adopt more-than-human perspectives to digital twin simulation of urban forests. Her multidisciplinary endeavors have been published in journals in Human-Computer Interaction and Urban Studies.
